Morning all, I hope your settling in ok with the new website, it is only the second website I’ve ever coded (the first can be found here, but be warned it can never been unseen). Drawing on years of being taught usability, affordances, mappings and constraints I managed to avoid all of those things and make it a white website with red bits.
Some of the pages are unfinished, such as the FAQ’s and About pages, but in due time they will be finished.
It has also been bought to our attention that the layout of the site breaks in certain browsers (I’m looking at you IE7) and the random comic feature isn’t working quite right but rest assured these things will be addressed soon, honest so continue to let us know about any issues you are having with the site.

Next I want to say a massive big and alot of other words meaning large thanks to all the contributors that helped the new site with its launch and other related festivitys. So thanks to Robin Hayes and the guys over at Propellor and Ratchet Games for their “epic” contribution. Tom Jaques produced a piece of line art so stunning John was weeping into his tablet for days, if we ever need a dotGif : The Movie poster this is the guy we’ll be calling. Chris Heaton (though he may be buying the wrong version of pokemon, heartgold ftw!) showed us that while pirate music is a legal gray area, stealing sandwich’s is always wrong. Finally a fellow comic producer and our frequant corrector of spelling Anxiety Decending , which I may be wrong but possibly goes down in history as the last comic posted on the old site, as it opened the new site by appearing on both.

So a massive thanks to all of you who helped the site achieve the sort of visitor count in 1 week that we normally attract in a month, and a massive thanks to all the readers who amazingly came back the next week, we kept 95% of the traffic from week 1 in week 2, breath-taking. Finally thanks to John who was willing to let other people produce art for the comics for the first time, I know it wasn’t easy for him to do that, but I’m told the massive amounts of tranquilizers we shot him with to get him to agree will be wearing off soon.

So check back tomorrow when part 3 (Part 1 is Here and Part 2 Here) of the as yet untitled “scarlet gets a job” arc will be posted, this is possibly the penultimate issue in that arc, depending if I split the final one into a 2 parter or not.
