dotGif…
July 14th, 2010 |Dear everyone,
Firstly, sorry about my lack of input and content recently.
I have found that I have much less time that I feel this comic needs. I have also lost interest in it – or to be more specific – lost what I once enjoyed about making the comic. We created this comic while we were students, with plenty of free time to work up and devise the panels – sadly now, I have stumbled into the real world and have discovered that my free time is very precious to me, and setting aside an entire evening (sometimes) to making the comic is simply too much, and for that reason mainly, I am stepping down as artist.
Now, its completely up to Terry what happens next. He has put as much time and effort into this comic as I have, and I feel that if he wants to continue on with this, then it is completely up to him.
For those of you who have enjoyed reading this comic, I thank you. I wish Terry and anyone involved the best of luck for the future.
JB

Pity, I was enjoying it.
Can you post a quick breakdown or ideas list if you do if this does die?
Do you mean some clues as to where the storyline would have gone if it continued?
If so then yes, I probably will post a quick summary of the end of the current arc and the next one that was planned.
That’s such a shame.
The comic really seemed to be coming into it’s own, especially with the ‘story arc’ episode/issues.
Personally I think it’s a mistake to have stepped down, not just because the story was just getting interesting, because your work on the comic was the best I’ve ever seen you do.
So yeah, first i would like to thank you because DotGif made me realise how much i love webcomics all over again… Anyways i hope you keep it alive Terry a small groop of friends and I all agree that its one of the most impressive webcomics that we’ve discovered in a while.
There have been a number of artists offer to help keep the comic going I’m just deciding if I will, and if so what form it will take.
But the decision will be made by the end of the week!
Pity, i find your ‘comic’ really interesting.
All the best to you.
